Unveiled in 2007, the R35 GT-R became Nissan’s flagship supercar.  It is the successor to the R34 GT-R, a high-performance variant of the Nissan Skyline.  No longer part of the Nissan Skyline lineup, the GT-R stands alone as Nissan’s top performing sports car.  The R35 is powered by the Twin turbo VR38DETT engine which produced 480 hp and 430 lb. ft of torque. The engine is built from a closed deck cylinder block with a ladder frame support structure.  Horsepower has grown over the years with output reaching 565 hp and 467 lb. ft. of torque.  The ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system provides power to all four wheels.   Each engine is hand assembled by one of four technicians and their names are badged on every GT-R engine.
