Released in Dec of 2008, the Japanese Fairlady 370z was completely redesigned from its predecessor, the 350Z.  The designers of the 370Z were Randy Rodriguez and Diane Allen.  The overall length and wheelbase were shortened while the overall width and track width were increased when compared to the 350z.  Aluminum and carbon fiber were used throughout the chassis and body to reduce the weight of the vehicle.  The Nismo version of the VQ37VHR engine produced 350 hp and 276 lb. ft. of torque and featured a 6-speed manual transmission with SynchoRev match technology.  In 2013 the 370z was updated with a refreshed front fascia. LED daytime running lights, new 18-inch wheels for the coupe, and 19-inch Rays wheels for the Nismo edition.
